Abstract
La présente invention concerne un polymère hydrosoluble P1 de poids moléculaire moyen inférieur à 2 millions de daltons sous forme de poudre préparé par un procédé de polymérisation par voie gel comprenant les étapes successives suivantes : a) Former une solution S1 en ajoutant, et mélangeant, dans un réacteur de polymérisation entre 25 et 150 % en poids de monomères hydrosolubles, à une solution S2 contenant entre 1 et 25 % en poids d’un polymère P2, en poids par rapport au poids de la solution S2, le polymère P2 contenant au moins 1 % en poids de monomères hydrophobes, b) Ajouter un régulateur de pH dans la solution S1, c) Dégazer la solution S1, d) Ajouter au moins un initiateur de polymérisation dans la solution S1, la solution S1 étant à une température comprise entre -5°C et 30°C, e) Former un gel de polymère P1 en polymérisant la solution S1 issue de l’étape d) et laisser le gel de polymère P1 vieillir à une température finale de polymérisation comprise entre 80 et 150°C, pendant au moins 60 minutes sans chauffage, f) Décharger le gel de polymère P1 ainsi obtenu dans un granulateur, g) Sécher le gel de polymère P1, h) Broyer et tamiser le polymère P1 sous forme de poudre.
