Abstract

L’invention concerne un procédé d’allumage d’un moteur thermique de véhicule automobile, ledit procédé étant mis en œuvre par une unité électronique de contrôle d’un circuit d’allumage (C20) de moteur thermique de véhicule automobile, ledit circuit d’allumage (C20) comprenant un transformateur (T20), comprenant une bobine primaire (B1) et une bobine secondaire (B2), et une bougie d’allumage (B20) reliée électroniquement à la bobine secondaire (B2) du transformateur (T20), la bobine primaire (B1) étant apte à se charger et apte à se décharger dans la bobine secondaire (B2), la durée de décharge de la bobine primaire (B1) étant prédéfinie, la bougie d’allumage étant apte à générer une étincelle lors de la décharge de la bobine primaire (B1) dans la bobine secondaire (B2), le procédé comprenant : une étape de demande de démarrage d’un cycle de combustion du moteur,une première phase dite « de génération d’une étincelle principale », une deuxième phase dite « de génération d’au moins une étincelle subsidiaire ».
