Description

Luminous label, and associated reactivation device

The present invention relates in particular to a luminous label, intended to be affixed to a container.

This invention can in particular be affixed to a perfume bottle or to a bottle of spirits.

We already know from the prior art different variants of luminous tags of the LED type (light-emitting diodes), powered electrically by batteries.

Such labels make it possible to obtain a very successful aesthetic effect, as well as to attract the eye, in particular in a dimly lit atmosphere, such as a shop window at night, or a disco atmosphere.

The disadvantage of these electrically powered luminous labels is their relatively high manufacturing cost, as well as their strong environmental impact linked to the use of batteries and electronic components which by nature are difficult to recycle.

The purpose of this mention is thus in particular to provide a luminous label relatively simple to manufacture, without significant impact on the environment, and reusable practically indefinitely.

This object of the invention is achieved, as well as other advantages which will result from the description which will follow, with a luminous label intended to be affixed to a container, comprising at least one phosphorescent part.

The use of phosphorescence to allow the label to reflect light, eliminates the need for any electrical power supply, as well as any associated electronic circuit; moreover, such a label is practically infinitely reusable, which is very favorable for the environmental impact of this product.

According to other optional characteristics of the label according to the invention, taken alone or in combination:

- Said label comprises fastening means on the container;

- said phosphorescent part comprises phosphorescent pigments: such pigments, available on the market, make it possible to obtain the phosphorescence effect in a simple and economical manner;

- said label is formed of injected plastic material incorporating said pigments: this embodiment makes it possible to very simply introduce the phosphorescence effect into the mass of the label;

- said label comprises a plate on which said pigments are deposited by a method chosen from the group comprising screen printing, offset printing, pad printing, syringing: this embodiment makes it possible to simply obtain the phosphorescence effect on a plate formed for example of metal or metal alloy, plastic, cardboard, paper or any other type of material;

- said fixing means are repositionable adhesives, chosen from the group comprising a nano-gel and a double-sided adhesive: such adhesive fixing means make it possible on the one hand to simply fix the label on the container, and on the other hand to remove it in order to reactivate its phosphorescence effect in an appropriate environment;

- a layer of glue is interposed between said nano-gel and the back of said label: this layer of glue makes it possible to ensure that the nano-gel remains stuck to the back of the label, and not to the container, when the label is removed;

- said nano-gel is deposited in the form of two strips at two opposite ends of the back of the label: this distribution of the nano-gel makes it possible to obtain a satisfactory maintenance of the label on the container, with a minimum consumption of nano -freeze ;

- said fastening means are mechanical, chosen from the group comprising elastic tabs, hook tabs capable of cooperating with corresponding housings formed in the body of the container, a collar, Velcro® type strips, micro-suction cups arranged back of the label: these mechanical fastening means offer a simple and effective alternative to the repositionable adhesive means mentioned above.

The present invention also relates to a device for reactivating at least one luminous tag in accordance with the above, comprising a casing containing at least one light-emitting diode emitting in wavelengths located in a range ranging from 320 to 480 nm: these wavelengths make it possible to effectively reactivate the phosphorescent pigments.

Thus, by placing the luminous label inside the case for a suitable period of time, it can restore its phosphorescence, and thus reuse it with another container: nothing is thrown away, which makes this mode of lighting economical. and environmentally friendly.

According to other optional characteristics of this device, taken alone or in combination:

- this device further comprises at least one light-emitting diode emitting in type C ultraviolet wavelengths: these wavelengths, located in a range ranging from 100 to 280 nm, make it possible to sterilize the luminous labels, which is particularly useful in an atmosphere receiving a large audience;

- Said diodes are arranged alternately: this particular arrangement makes it possible to perform simultaneously and optimally the functions of reactivation and sterilization of the luminous labels;

- This device comprises a plurality of supports intended to receive luminous labels in accordance with the above: such an arrangement makes it possible to reactivate several luminous labels at the same time;

- this device includes a rechargeable battery: after recharging the battery, this device can be used wirelessly, therefore anywhere inside a room, which is very practical;

- this device comprises a plurality of programs for reactivating said tags: rapid reactivation with high electrical energy consumption, normal reactivation with moderate electrical energy consumption, and slow reactivation with low electrical energy consumption: these different programs allow, in depending on the time available to proceed with the reactivation of the luminous labels, to opt for reactivation profiles that consume more or less electrical current.

We now refer to the , on which there is shown a bottle on which is affixed a label 3 which may include a logo 5 and/or any other type of graphic representation.

According to a first variant, this label 3 of concave shape, can be formed in an injected plastic material, with which a phosphorescent pigment is mixed.

Such a pigment may, for example, be of the Masterbatch Storelite® TPE-04.78 TOP type, marketed by the company RCTRITEC; this pigment can be white or colored, and be chosen according to the way in which it can restore light, namely to present a strong initial brilliance followed by a rapid decrease in luminosity, or to present a moderate initial brilliance, followed by longer lasting luminosity.

One can also imagine combining pigments having each of these characteristics, in order to combine their advantages, namely high initial shine followed by lasting luminosity: in this case, these pigments of different characteristics are incorporated and mixed in the injected plastic material .

The logo 5 and/or, where applicable, the associated graphic representations, may optionally be formed in hollow or in relief in the injected plastic material forming the label.

This logo 5 and/or these graphic representations can be produced on the label by screen printing, offset printing, pad printing, or by any other means of printing.

The ink used to make its prints can itself be charged with phosphorescent pigments.

When this logo 5 and/or the associated graphic representations are made hollow in the label, it is also possible to envisage syringing, that is to say filling these hollows with a resin, colored or not.

According to a second variant, the label 3 can be a plate on which the phosphorescent pigments are deposited by screen printing, offset pad printing, syringe printing or any other printing method.

This plate can be made of metal or metal alloy, plastic, cardboard, paper or any other type of material.

In the embodiment visible on the , the label 3 is attached to the bottle 1 by means of a plate with micro-suction cups 7, visible from the front and from the side on the .

This plate with micro-suction cups 7 is attached to the back of the label 3 by gluing, and has on its other side a multitude of micro-suction cups 9 allowing this label 3 to be held on the bottle.

This plate with micro-suction cups 7 can be formed from acrylic, and have a thickness comprised for example between 0.3 and 0.7 mm.

This type of plate can be found, for example, at the Chinese company Shenzhen Xinghongtu Electronic Material.

In the embodiment visible on the , the label 3 is attached to the bottle 1 by means of two lateral tabs 10a, 10b provided at their ends with hooks cooperating with corresponding cavities 11 formed in the material of the bottle.

In the embodiment visible on the , the label 3 is attached to the bottle 1 by means of a possibly elastic collar 13.

In the embodiment visible on the , the label 3 is attached to the bottle 1 by means of two strips of the Velcro® type 15a, 15b of very low thickness.

According to an embodiment not shown, the label 3 can also be attached to the bottle by means of a nano-gel, water-resistant, recyclable, and having a thickness of the order of a millimeter.

Such a nano-gel, formed from silica and polyurethane, is marketed for example by the Chinese company Shenzhen BZ tape Co.

This nano-gel can be spread over the entire back of the label 3, or else only on part of the back of this label, preferably in the form of two strips arranged along the opposite edges of this label.

This nano-gel is attached to the back of the label by means of a double-sided adhesive, the tear strength of which is greater than the tear strength of the nano-gel on the body of bottle 1.

Before affixing the label to the body of the bottle, this layer of nano-gel can be protected by a protective film, which is removed just before use.

We represented on the a variant of the label according to the invention, when it is formed from plastic material: in this variant, the body 14 of this label can be produced by bi-injection, a peripheral part 16 of the label being in fact injected from plastic plastic devoid of phosphorescent pigments, and a central part 17 of the label, which may have for example a rectangular outline, being injected in plastic material loaded with phosphorescent pigments.

As an indication and not limiting, the plastic material of the peripheral part 16 of the label can be dark, black for example, and the central part 17 of the label can be clear (white for example).

In this variant, the logo 5 and/or the associated graphic representations can be printed on a film 19 itself stuck on the body 14 of the label, so as to come in front of the phosphorescent central part 17 of the label. .

As a variant, the film 19 may be dark in color, and have adjournments superimposed on the phosphorescent central part 17 of the label: all sorts of combinations of printing, adjournments, reliefs, hollows are possible in the framework of the invention, so as to obtain the desired phosphorescent rendering.

There is shown in Figures 7 to 10 views similar to those of Figures 1 and 3 to 5, in the case where the label according to the invention is affixed to a perfume bottle 21.

As will have been understood in the light of the foregoing, the invention provides an elegant means, not requiring the supply of on-board electrical energy, to make a bottle or flask label luminous.

The use of phosphorescent pigments is more ecological, easy to implement, and allows the label to be reused almost endlessly.

To recharge the phosphorescent pigments with light, a reactivation box 22 such as that shown in FIGS. 11 to 13 can be used.

Such a box 22 comprises a base 23 and a cover 25 that can be closed on this base in a sealed manner.

Inside the base 23 are fixed strips of light-emitting diodes 27, 29, each strip preferably comprising an alternation of diodes emitting light located in a range of wavelengths from 320 to 480 nm, and in a wavelength range from 100 to 280 nm (UVC light).

An electronics 31 for supplying these diodes 27, 29 is provided inside the base 23.

This power supply electronics 31 may comprise a printed circuit, a transformer, a rechargeable battery, and connectors 33.

Connector 33 can be adapted to recharge the battery on mains, or on USB output.

The battery located in the electronics 31 allows the autonomous operation of the reactivation box 22 after recharging.

Mechanical supports correctly located inside the base 23 make it possible to arrange the phosphorescent labels 3 inside this base, so that they are illuminated by the diodes 27, 29.

Provision can be made for the electronics 31 to be adapted to allow different modes of operation of the diodes 27, 29 emitting in the 320-480 nm band: "BOOST" mode allowing rapid reactivation of the tags (typically in 30 seconds), with a high electrical energy consumption, "NORMAL" mode, allowing normal reactivation (typically in 5 minutes), with moderate electrical energy consumption, and "ECO" mode, allowing slow reactivation (typically in 20 minutes), with low electrical energy consumption.

Regarding the diodes emitting in the UVC band allowing the sterilization of the labels, a timer can be provided allowing them to be turned on for a determined period.

Thus, the box 22 according to the invention makes it possible, in a convenient, nomadic and rapid manner, to reactivate the phosphorescence of a plurality of labels according to the invention.

Of course, the use of such a box does not exclude that the labels can also be illuminated in other ways, for example by means of a portable lamp emitting in one and/or both ranges of aforementioned wavelengths.

Naturally, the invention is described in the foregoing by way of example. It is understood that the person skilled in the art is able to carry out different variant embodiments of the invention without departing from the scope of the invention.

Thus, the notion of "label" within the meaning of the present invention also encompasses the printing of any information and/or logo directly printed on the material forming the bottle or the flask: for example, printing of a of perfume directly on the glass of the bottle, using an ink including phosphorescent pigments.

It is thus also that the label according to the invention can be flat and not curved as shown in the appended figures: such a flat label can be affixed for example to one of the faces of a perfume bottle of the shape substantially parallelepipedic.

It is thus also that it is possible to envisage combining several of the embodiments set out in the foregoing, such as for example using a label made of plastic material incorporating phosphorescent pigments, on which information (logo and/or representations graphics) are printed using an ink incorporating fluorescent pigments.

Claims (15)

Luminous label (3) intended to be affixed to a container (1), comprising at least one phosphorescent part. Luminous label according to claim 1, comprising fixing means (7, 10a, 10b, 11, 13, 15a, 15b) on the container (1). A luminous label (3) according to one of claims 1 or 2, wherein said phosphorescent part comprises phosphorescent pigments. Luminous label (3) according to any one of the preceding claims, formed of injected plastic material of which at least a part (17) incorporates said pigments. Luminous label (3) according to one of Claims 3 or 4, comprising a plate on which the said pigments are deposited by a method chosen from the group comprising screen printing, offset printing, pad printing, syringe printing. A luminous tag (3) according to any preceding claim dependent on claim 2, wherein said securing means is adhesive, selected from the group comprising nano-gel and double-sided adhesive. Luminous label (3) according to claim 6, in which a layer of glue is interposed between said nano-gel and the back of said label (3). Luminous label (3) according to one of Claims 6 or 7, in which the said nano-gel is deposited in the form of two strips at two opposite ends of the back of the label (3). Luminous tag (3) according to any one of Claims 1 to 5 depending on Claim 2, in which the said fixing means are mechanical, chosen from the group comprising elastic tabs, hook tabs (10a, 10b) capable of cooperate with corresponding housings (11) formed in the body of the container, a collar (13), strips of the Velcro® type (15a, 15b), micro-suction cups (9) arranged on the back of the label (3) . Device for reactivating at least one luminous tag (3) according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising a casing (22) containing at least one light-emitting diode (27, 29) emitting in a range of wavelengths from 320 to 480nm. Device according to claim 10, further comprising at least one light-emitting diode (27, 29) emitting in the C-type ultraviolet wavelengths. Device according to claims 10 or 11, wherein said diodes (27, 29) emitting in the wavelengths of 320 to 480 nm and in the C-type ultraviolet wavelengths are arranged alternately. Device according to any one of Claims 10 to 12, comprising a plurality of supports intended to receive luminous labels (3) in accordance with any one of Claims 1 to 7. Device according to any one of claims 10 to 13, comprising a rechargeable battery. Device according to any one of Claims 10 to 14, comprising a plurality of programs for reactivating said tags (3): fast reactivation with high electrical energy consumption, normal reactivation with moderate electrical energy consumption, and slow reactivation with low electrical energy consumption.
