Abstract

A wooden vibrator-type sexual stimulation device comprising a handle (1) and a hollow tubular body (2), the tubular body (2) designed to be inserted into a body cavity of the user, and the handle (1) intended for manipulating the device, being joined end-to-end in a coaxial configuration by internal fastening means invisible from the outside. These fastening means comprise, on the one hand, a connecting piece (4) fixed to the handle (1) and extending into the tubular body (2) along the axis of the latter, and on the other hand, a ring (5) embedded in the tubular body (2), the portion of the connecting piece (4) extending from the handle (1) and the ring (5) having shapes allowing axial sliding and then rotational locking of one within the other when the handle (1) and the tubular body (2) are joined. Description

Wooden sexual stimulation device

The present invention relates to the field of sexual stimulation devices of the sex toy type, more particularly those made of wood, which may be equipped with a vibrating function. These devices are commonly called vibrators, and they have a cylindrical or tapered shape allowing insertion into natural cavities of the human body. They generally have a rounded head and a body that may have slight curves to facilitate insertion and reach specific areas. The possibility of a vibrating function implies a design that allows for the installation of a vibrating module, and therefore makes it impossible to manufacture the sex toy by simply turning a single piece of wood. It is then necessary to provide an internal volume to house such a module and therefore to design a structure made of several parts that can be assembled and disassembled to provide access to the internal volume.

Given the context of use of this tool, the structure to be provided is in practice dependent on constraints which are firstly external, in substance and as a main point respecting a smooth tapered shape whose part intended for insertion allows to facilitate a progressive and comfortable penetration, and secondly internal, to make assembly and disassembly easy and immediate, by which we mean without any complexities for the user.

In particular, it is imperative that the fastening methods for the various parts of the vibrator do not cause any external obstruction when assembled, and ideally, that they be completely invisible from the outside, thus giving the wooden piece an aesthetically pleasing and refined appearance. This excludes, for example, assembly with external screws, which are too cumbersome for the user during assembly/disassembly, are also unsightly, and whose long-term mechanical strength is not guaranteed. The locking mechanism for the two main parts—a user-gripping handle and the tubular-shaped body designed for potential insertion—must instead be manual, meaning without external tools, and also intuitive and very easy to use.

So far, the solutions found have struggled to meet these criteria, as previous designs often use screw or pin fastenings, which, as mentioned earlier, leads to stability issues and is also aesthetically unappealing. Added to this is the difficulty of easily replacing a vibrating capsule, dimensions that are not always appropriate for the nature and function of the object, and finally, a locking mechanism for the detachable parts that is neither easy nor intuitive, making the sex toy less appealing.

The objective of the present invention is therefore to remedy these shortcomings by proposing an aesthetically impeccable configuration including a design of the means of assembly/disassembly which makes them invisible from the outside, and finally an easy and efficient locking/unlocking which also provides haptic feedback to confirm that the assembly is correctly carried out.

To this end, the wooden vibrator-type sexual stimulation device of the invention, classically comprising a handle and a hollow tubular body, the tubular body, designed to be inserted into a body cavity of the user, and the handle, intended for manipulating the device, being fixed end-to-end in a coaxial configuration by internal fastening means invisible from the outside, is such that said fastening means comprise on the one hand a connecting piece fixed to the handle and protruding into the tubular body along the axis of the latter and on the other hand a ring embedded in the tubular body, the portion of the connecting piece protruding from the handle and the ring having shapes allowing axial sliding and then rotational locking of one in the other in the position of the end-to-end of the handle and the tubular body.

In the configuration of the invention, the handle is inserted axially up to the stop formed by the abutment surfaces of the tubular body and the handle, a rotation of about a quarter turn then allowing the handle to be locked in contact with said tubular body, by means of the connecting piece and the ring.

In one possible configuration, the connecting piece may include a polygonal portion that fits into a recess of the same shape in the handle, with two opposite faces of said polygonal portion having at least one trunnion-type protrusion designed to fit into a cavity radially machined in the recess. For such a configuration, the handle is made of two parts that can then be assembled, for example by gluing.

Preferably, according to the invention, the portion of the connecting piece extending from the handle can be cylindrical and have two lugs extending radially from it. These lugs are used, as will be seen in more detail later, for locking the handle to the tubular body.

Connected to the tubular body, the ring can, according to one possible design, include a central channel allowing passage of the portion of the connecting piece extending beyond the handle, including the two lugs. A bearing surface for the lugs is provided in the ring at a level corresponding to the position of the lugs when the handle and the tubular body are joined, thus enabling relative rotation of the handle and the tubular body. As mentioned, the first relative movement during the assembly of the handle to the tubular body is therefore axial, and it is followed by a locking rotational movement.

To eliminate any degree of rotational freedom relative to the tubular body, the ring may include, on its distal wall at the abutment surface of the handle and the tubular body, at least one axial pin designed to fit into a corresponding orifice in the tubular body. Preferably, two pins are provided, preferably positioned diametrically opposite each other on this wall.

To improve handle locking, and secondarily to provide feedback during rotation for said locking, the bearing face can incorporate balls that protrude elastically from ball plungers arranged axially within the ring body. These plungers are positioned so that, during rotation, the lugs each pass through at least one ball plunger, which acts as an additional safety catch, while simultaneously generating a click in the handle, and in the hand of the user performing the assembly, which haptically confirms successful locking.

Furthermore, to ensure its axial fixation, the ring may, for example, have two opposing tabs that move radially within a peripheral groove of the ring and are pushed radially outwards by the insertion of said ball plungers. These tabs are designed to extend into a corresponding peripheral slot formed in the inner wall of the hollow tubular body. More precisely, these tabs may occupy a peripheral angular sector of the ring less than a semicircle. One peripheral end of each tab, rotatably connected to the ring by a pin as mentioned above, is tangential to the peripheral wall of the ring, and the other end, extended radially by the ball plungers, has an edge oriented radially with respect to the ring.

In the design of the invention, the hollow tubular body is adapted to house a cylindrical tube intended to receive at least one vibrating module. As briefly mentioned above, the cylindrical tube can be attached to the portion of the connecting piece extending from the handle, said cylindrical tube then having two L-shaped slots opening at one end of the tube and being fixed by clipping onto two screw heads extending radially from said portion.

Such a module must be actuable when the vibrator is assembled, which in practice means that it may have a switch that the user can select between two positions: an activation position and an off position. To this end, in one possible configuration, the connecting piece may include a central axial channel through which a slider is connected to said piece by a linkage incorporating means for returning the slider to a stable position in which a first end, or a protrusion emanating from said slider, extends beyond the handle. The slider is dimensioned so that its second end extends beyond the upper surface of the connecting piece immersed in the tubular body when an axial force is exerted on the first end, or on the protrusion, against the return means.

In other words, when the user wants to activate the vibrating module, they simply need to exert an action on the section of the slide that protrudes outside the handle to axially move its other end - located inside the vibrator - which can then be aligned with the vibrating module placed in the cylindrical tube, which consequently includes, for this purpose, a switch that can be operated by the second end of the slide.

Other objects and advantages of the present invention will become apparent in the following description, which relates to an embodiment given by way of illustrative example. Understanding this description will be particularly facilitated by reference to the figures attached in the appendix:

With reference to the FIG. 1 The wooden sexual stimulation device of the invention essentially comprises a handle 1 and a tubular body 2 visible from the outside, axially fixed in continuity with each other at a butt joint surface 3. FIG. 2 This shows that inside, three other parts are primarily used in the assembly: a connecting piece 4, a ring 5, and a cylindrical tube 6, the function of which will be described in more detail later. The connecting piece 4 has several parts along its longitudinal axis (see in particular Figures 3 and 4), including an upper cylindrical portion 41 with two protruding lugs 42, followed downwards by a crown-shaped shoulder 43. This assembly protrudes from the handle 1 when the piece 4 is attached to it (see in FIG. 8 ). Next, below the crown 43, there is a polygonal portion 44 of which two opposite faces have trunnion-type protuberances 45, and finally, even lower, a sleeve 46 which surrounds a slide 47.

The connecting piece 4 therefore includes an internal slide 47 that moves within a central axial channel. Slide return means, in the form of a compression spring 48, are interposed between the sleeve 46 and a shoulder at the bottom of a bore 49 formed in the polygonal portion 44 of the connecting piece 4. Since the lower end of the slide 471 extends axially beyond the handle 1, it is possible to move the slide 47 upwards by applying force to this end 471, so that its other (upper) end 472 extends beyond the cylindrical portion 41. The stable position of the slide 47 is that in which the lower end 471 extends beyond the handle 1. In this case, the second end 472 does not extend beyond the upper surface of the connecting piece 4.

The ring 5 has a cylindrical peripheral wall 51 surrounding a central channel 52 shaped to allow the passage of the upper cylindrical portion (41, 43) of the connecting piece 4, including the two diametrically opposed lugs 42. A double ridge 53, located on either side of the central channel 52 and serving as a bearing surface for said lugs 42, appears in the ring 5. The surface of the ridges 53 is situated, along the axis of the ring 5, at a level such that the lugs 42 can only rest on them when the abutment between the handle 1 and the tubular body 2 is formed. The lugs 42 then having passed beyond this level, as results, for example, from the FIG. 7 It becomes possible to impart a relative rotation between the handle 1, to which the connecting piece 4 – and therefore the lugs 42 – is attached, and the tubular body 2. This rotation can be carried out until it comes into contact with stops 54. These stops 54 are surmounted by axial pins 57 which allow the ring 5 to be locked in rotation within the tubular body 2 by insertion into correspondingly shaped recesses. Ball plungers 55 are arranged such that two balls are brought to the surface of each bump 53, which act as a notch, haptically indicating to the user that the relative rotation is in progress. The ball plungers 55, on the side of the operating head (of the slotted screw head type), are slightly recessed into the underside of the ring 5, which is particularly apparent at the FIG. 6 (they do not interfere with the abutment surface 3).

In the illustrated configuration, the ring 5 has two opposing tabs 56, capable of moving radially in a peripheral groove 560 of the ring 5. These tabs 56 are pushed radially outwards by the insertion of the ball plungers 55. They appear in FIG. 5 and are shown in Figures 5 and 6 in the deployed position. They are designed to fit into a peripheral slot 21 made in the inner wall of the hollow tubular body 2 (see in FIG. 2 ), and are pushed outwards for this purpose when the ball plungers 55 are fixed in the ring 5. These tabs 56 occupy an angular sector, at the periphery of the ring 5, slightly less than a semicircle. They are therefore almost semi-circular tabs 56. In the absence of the ball plungers 55, they are retractable into the volume of the ring 5 to facilitate the insertion of the ring 5 into the tubular body 2 as shown in FIG. 2 They are rotationally connected to the ring 5, at their end having a circular orifice, each via one of the axial pins 57. Due to this particular mounting in the ring 5 by means of a pin 57 at only one of the ends, each tab 56 has a first peripheral end 561 tangent to the ring 5 while the second extended end 562 has an edge oriented radially with respect to the ring 5.

There FIG. 9 shows the assembly of a cylindrical tube 6 to the connecting piece 4. This cylindrical tube 6 is in practice fixed to the upper portion 41 of said connecting piece 4, the part that protrudes from the handle 1 (see in FIG. 8 The tube 6 has two L-shaped slots 61 opening at one end of the tube 6 and clipping onto two screw heads 421 protruding radially from the upper cylindrical portion 41. When the cylindrical tube is firmly fixed to the connecting piece 4, the free edge of the tube 6 rests on the crown-shaped shoulder 43 of the piece 4.

The assembled device of the invention is shown in Figures 1 and 2. Specifically, the connecting piece 4 is mounted in the handle 1, itself made up of two separate parts, which are then fixed to each other, for example, by gluing. The tube 6, into which a vibrating element may have been inserted, is then attached to this first sub-assembly. The ring 5 is inserted and fixed in the tubular body 2 by screwing in the ball plungers 55. The handle 1/connecting piece 4/cylindrical tube 6 sub-assembly is then inserted into the central channel 52 of the ring 5 (there is only one insertion position). As soon as this sub-assembly comes into contact with the butt surface 3 (see Figures 1 and 2), the user can turn the handle 1 approximately a quarter turn: the stimulation device of the invention is assembled.

The configuration examples shown in the figures should not be considered exhaustive of the invention, which includes, for example, shape variants for part 4, or for ring 5, particularly with regard to mechanical connections.

Claims (12)

A wooden vibrator-type sexual stimulation device comprising a handle (1) and a hollow tubular body (2), the tubular body (2) designed to be inserted into a body cavity of the user and the handle (1) intended for manipulating the device being fixed end-to-end in a coaxial configuration by internal fastening means invisible from the outside, characterized in that said fastening means comprise on the one hand a connecting piece (4) fixed to the handle (1) and protruding into the tubular body (2) along the axis of the latter and on the other hand a ring (5) embedded in the tubular body (2), the portion of the connecting piece (4) protruding from the handle (1) and the ring (5) having shapes allowing axial sliding and then rotational locking of one in the other in the position of the end-to-end of the handle (1) and the tubular body (2). A wooden sexual stimulation device of the vibrator type according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the connecting piece (4) comprises a polygonal portion (44) fitting into a recess of the same shape made in the handle (1), two opposite faces of said polygonal portion (44) having at least one trunnion-type protrusion (45) provided to fit into a cavity made radially in the recess of the handle (1). A wooden sexual stimulation device of the vibrator type according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the portion (41), (43) of the connecting piece (4) protruding from the handle (1) is cylindrical and has two prongs (42) protruding radially. A wooden sexual stimulation device of the vibrator type according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the ring (5) has a central channel (52) allowing the passage of the portion (41), (43) of the connecting piece (4) protruding from the handle (1) including the two lugs (42), a bearing face (53) of the lugs (42) being provided in the ring (5) at a level corresponding to the position of the lugs (42) when the handle (1) and the tubular body (2) are joined, opening the possibility of a relative rotation of the handle (1) and the tubular body (2). A wooden vibrator-type sexual stimulation device according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the ring (5) has, on its distal wall of the abutment surface (3) of the handle (1) and the tubular body (2), at least one axial pin (57) provided to be inserted into a corresponding orifice of the tubular body (2). A wooden sexual stimulation device of the vibrator type according to one of claims 4 and 5, characterized in that the bearing face (53) has balls extending elastically from ball pushers (55) arranged axially in the body of the ring (5). A vibrator-type wooden sexual stimulation device according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the ring (5) has two opposing tabs (56) that are radially movable in a peripheral groove (560) of the ring and pushed radially outwards by the insertion of said ball pushers (55), said tabs (56) being provided to deploy in a corresponding peripheral slot (21) made in the inner wall of the hollow tubular body (2). A wooden vibrator-type sexual stimulation device according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the tabs (56) occupy a peripheral angular sector of the ring (5) less than a semicircle, one of the peripheral ends (561) of each tab (56), rotatably connected to the ring by a pin (57), being tangent to the peripheral wall (51) of the ring and the other end (562) deployed radially by the ball pushers (55) having an edge oriented radially with respect to the ring (5). A wooden sexual stimulation device of the vibrator type according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the hollow tubular body (2) is suitable for housing a cylindrical tube (6) intended to receive at least one vibrating module. A wooden sexual stimulation device of the vibrator type according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the cylindrical tube (6) is fixed to the portion of the connecting part (41) protruding from the handle, said cylindrical tube (6) having two L-shaped slots (61) opening at one end of the tube (6) and being fixed by clipping onto two screw heads (421) protruding radially from said portion (41). A wooden vibrator-type sexual stimulation device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the connecting piece (4) has a central axial channel through which a slide (47) is connected to said piece by a link comprising means for returning the slide (47) to a stable position in which a first end (471), or a protrusion emanating from said slide (47), protrudes from the handle (1), the slide (47) being dimensioned so that its second end (472) protrudes from the upper surface of the connecting piece (4) immersed in the tubular body (2) when an axial action is exerted on the first end (471), or on the protrusion, against the return means (48). A wooden sexual stimulation device of the vibrator type according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the vibrating module placed in the cylindrical tube (6) has a switch actuable by the second end (471) of the slider (47).
