Abstract
L’invention concerne un volet pivotant (3) pour un ensemble vélique d’un véhicule maritime, le volet pivotant (3) étant destiné à équiper et collaborer – directement ou indirectement – avec une voile (2) de l’ensemble vélique , le volet pivotant (3) comportant un dispositif de pivotement (4) relativement à un axe de rotation situé le long d’un bord d’appui (31A) dudit volet pivotant (3), le dispositif de pivotement (4) comportant (i) au moins une vessie gonflable (41A, 41B) et un organe de contrôle d’un volume d’air injecté sélectivement dans chaque au moins une vessie gonflable (41A, 41B), de sorte à autoriser un gonflement ou un dégonflement de chaque vessie gonflable afin de générer un effort contre le bord d’appui (31A) afin de conduire à une rotation contrôlée dudit volet pivotant (3).
