We know that despite all the efforts made by many countries to reduce their consumption, cigarettes remain and will remain for many decades and in many and varied territories a product of high consumption linked to a major industry and economy.

Despite its proven toxicity, tobacco remains an important part of the industry in many producing countries.

Thus, the main producing countries that have fed the planet in tobacco for many years still host the largest industrial groups in the sector. For example, China's state monopoly (CHINA NATIONAL TOBACCO CORPORATION) still produced nearly 2,000 billion units each year in 2005. The US and the ALTRIA group, formerly PHILIP MORRIS, the world's second-largest producer, produced nearly 1,000 billion units and the United Kingdom by BRTTISH AMERICAN TOBACCO simultaneously produced nearly 700 billion units. During this year, these three market leaders followed by other smaller producers such as JAPAN TOBACCO and IMPERIAL TOBACCO provided the planet with more than 5,450 billion cigarettes.

Cigarettes are usually sold in packs of 20 to 25 units or individually in poor countries, packs are in turn distributed in cartons of 8 to 12 units.

In terms of consumption, we note that in 2007 more than 13 million smokers were identified in France, 54 billion cigarettes were sold for an amount of about 14 billion euros, which despite the decline in consumption remains very attractive for a French state taxing each package up to 80%.

If this product is still very much used today, it has always presented a big drawback for all consumer areas: the production of disposable residues.

Commonly called "Mégot" uncertain etymology word but probably derived from the slang word "dude", this residue is what remains of a cigarette after it was smoked. It is therefore a waste that can not be valued and is most often thrown around the smoker.

Among these wastes, a classification can be made between different types characterized by smell and use.

Thus, for cigarettes with filter, the cigarette butt usually measures less than a third of the length of the cigarette, it is mainly made of the used filter and a few leftovers of partly burned tobacco and ash.

For cigarettes without filter and less and less consumed, the butt is composed of a little tobacco, paper and ash and obviously smaller.

In most cases, butts are thrown to the ground in many urban areas but also natural and despite their small size they have a long life. Although apparently innocuous, butts pose a serious environmental problem.

Thus, more than 4.5 trillion cigarette butts are thrown away each year in the wild where they put between 6 months and 10 years to disappear.

Since most butts ultimately end up in water (eg via pipelines), there is also the problem of pollution. A butt thrown on the floor can pollute up to 500 liters of water.

To reduce these consequences on nature, ashtrays of all kinds have been made available to users and customers so that they deposit their cigarette butts, the use of an ordinary bin with a risk of fire. Unfortunately, since smoking is an outpatient activity, it has always been difficult to associate with a smoker the ashtray that would prevent the release of residues into the wild. Smokers outside the rooms equipped with ashtrays refuse or neglect to take the few steps separating them from an ashtray.

In addition to the risk of forest fires, homes or cars, children remain exposed to the toxicity of cigarette butts they would be able to pick up and bring to the mouth.

All these drawbacks have led the author of this patent to imagine an effective way to close an ashtray of each smoker, without this hindering or disturbing in his habits.

The present invention thus consists of a cigarette packaging designed in such a way that it has inside a same space, a reserved compartment and arranged to receive the residues of smoked cigarettes. Thus, the smoker who has finished smoking his cigarette, extinguishes his butt by rubbing it under the sole of his shoe or any other plane capable of performing this function, opens the access of said associated compartment in the same volume and deposits his butt. Previously extinguished it sees any residual combustion totally annihilated by the lack of oxygen.

Advantageously, the interior of the compartment hereinafter designated by the term "waste compartment", is lined by a thin layer of aluminum adhered to the carton as are for example the packaging of food products in bricks (milk, fruit juice, soup etc.).

Depending on the method of manufacture, the waste compartment can be integrated in the manufacture of the packaging itself, for example in folding or be completely independent and reported on a standard packaging or can be achieved by the contribution of a wall attached to the inside of a standard packaging.

Among the prior art several devices of the same purpose or the like can be identified but are of a different design than the packaging of the present invention.

This patent differs substantially from the present patent by the presence of the tubular housing to the minimum of three, each of which receives a previously smoke cigarette, to act as an ashtray and which therefore implies that the butt is intact and rectilinear, which n ' is usually never the case.

Differently, the patent of the present invention provides a compartment whose total volume is designed to receive a variable number of cigarette butts regardless of their shape and size.

Also mentioned is the International PCT Patent of Spanish Origin PASCAL PUERTAS filed on June 1, 2010 and published on December 8, 2011 under the number W02011 / 151474 A1, which mentions a cigarette packaging comprising a lateral space internally equipped with horizontal boxes each of which is intended to receive a single cigarette residue.

As in the previous patent cited, each residue is received in a receptacle adapted to receive only one, said residue to be in shapes and dimensions adapted to enter the receptacle, unlike the device of this patent whose waste compartment is open to several butts and this whatever their shape and dimensions. The invention of the present patent relates to a packaging for receiving cigarettes, characterized in that it comprises several free compartments, including for example an internal space whose integral volume is exclusively reserved for the storage of a plurality of cigarettes ready to smoke said "Cigarette space" and an internal space whose integral volume is exclusively reserved for residues of said cigarettes after they have been smoked, called "waste space".
