Abstract

Système pour véhicule automobile, comprenant un volant (2) de conduite relié au système de direction du véhicule, le volant comprenant une pluralité de capteurs (7) optiques, agencés sur la jante (25) du volant et configurés pour détecter la présence d'au moins un doigt (5) d'au moins une main du conducteur à proximité ou au contact de la jante du volant, moyennant quoi le système permet de déterminer le nombre de doigts à proximité ou au contact de la jante du volant ainsi que leurs positions respectives à la jante. L'invention couvre un procédé associé au dispositif.
