Le corps gras permet d'une part de nourrir la peau et d'autre part de faciliter la pénétration de la crème dans le derme. S'agissant d'un corps gras naturel c'est-à-dire d'un produit qui n'est pas un produit de synthèse et s'agissant de gras issus d'animaux, il est généralement usuel d'utiliser du gras de porc ou du gras d'ovins ou issus de produits d'ovins. [0004] La plupart des huiles végétales utilisées dans les crèmes de soins sont des huiles riches en acides gras insaturés comme notamment les huiles de colza, de maïs et d'olive.
