Abstract

Description
La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif de sternum prothétique destiné à être implanté en remplacement d'un sternum après une sternotomie. Il est rappelé que le sternum est un os plat de la partie antérieure de la cage thoracique sur lequel viennent s'attacher des côtes. Lorsque qu'un sternum est enlevé, dans le cas de présence d'une tumeur par exemple, les côtes initialement attachées au sternum, se retrouvent libres, et la cage thoracique ne peut plus remplir son rôle protecteur.The present invention relates to a prosthetic sternum device intended to be implanted in place of a sternum after a sternotomy. La présente invention a pour but de proposer un dispositif de sternum prothétique permettant de remédier à cette 15 carence. Le dispositif de sternum prothétique selon l'invention se caractérise essentiellement en ce qu'il comporte une plaque et des moyens de solidarisation à des côtes, chacun desdits moyens de solidarisation à des côtes comprenant d'une part un moyen 20 d'accrochage à une côte, et d'autre part un moyen de fixation à ladite plaque, laquelle comporte à cet effet une multiplicité de zones de fixation d'un desdits moyens d'accrochage, réparties en périphérie. Selon une caractéristique additionnelle du dispositif de 25 sternum prothétique selon l'invention, le moyen de fixation d'un moyen de solidarisation, est configure pour autoriser une articulation en pivotement selon un axe. Selon une autre caractéristique additionnelle du dispositif de sternum prothétique selon l'invention, le moyen 30 d'accrochage à une côte de chacun des moyens de solidarisation, consiste en un moyen d'enserrement d'une côte. Selon une autre caractéristique additionnelle du dispositif de sternum prothétique selon l'invention, le moyen d'accrochage à une côte comprend des pattes qui s'étendent 35 latéralement de part et d'autre d'une partie centrale qui s'étend dans l'axe du moyens de solidarisation, et qui sont destinées à être cintrées et refermées sur la côte à équiper. Dans le dessin annexé : - la figure 1 représente une vue schématique en plan et en éclaté, d'un dispositif de sternum prothétique selon l'invention. - la figure 2 représente une vue schématique en perspective d'une partie du même dispositif. - la figure 3 représente une vue schématique partielle en plan d'une autre partie du même dispositif. En référence à la figure 1, on peut voir qu'un dispositif 15 de sternum prothétique selon l'invention comprend, dans ce mode de réalisation, une plaque 1 et six moyens 2 de solidarisation à une côte, dont l'un est représenté sur le figure 2. La plaque 1 comprend une partie centrale 10 de forme allongée, de part et d'autre de laquelle s'étendent six 20 extensions 11, en l'occurrence trois de chaque côtés, en regard deux à deux, qui présentent chacune la forme d'une langue et qui sont destinées chacune à la fixation d'un moyen 2 de solidarisation à une côte. Chacun des moyens 2 de solidarisation à une côte se 25 présente sous la forme d'une pièce allongée 20 dont une extrémité 21 est configurée en un moyen de fixation à la plaque 1, tandis que l'autre extrémité comporte un moyen 22 d'accrochage d'une côte.
