Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet une roue dentée (1) d’arbres à cames, formant une cible pour un capteur de position d’arbre à cames, la roue dentée comprenant un corps circulaire comprenant deux faces principales opposées, et au moins quatre dents réparties sur la circonférence du corps circulaire, chaque dent comprenant deux bords correspondant l’un à un front montant et l’autre à un front descendant, en fonction d’un sens de rotation de la roue, l’écart angulaire entre les bords de chaque dent étant distinct pour chaque dent, caractérisée en ce que les quatre dents sont conformées pour que la roue dentée comprenne, en considérant la même face principale (11A) et un même sens de rotation de la roue : - quatre fronts (14) d’un même premier type montant ou descendant espacés respectivement de 90°, et - trois fronts (15) du deuxième type respectivement descendant ou montant, espacés respectivement de 120°.
