Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un système de freinage (1, 100) d'un véhicule destiné à être utilisé en mode conventionnel ou en mode automatique, ledit système comprenant une pédale de frein (2, 102), une tige d'actionnement (120) et un mécanisme de freinage, une rotation de ladite pédale (2, 102) vers l'avant entrainant un déplacement de ladite tige (120) pour activer le mécanisme de freinage. Selon l'invention, la pédale (2, 102) comprend un premier segment (3, 103) se terminant par un patin (4, 104) et un deuxième segment (5, 105) qui est relié à la tige d'actionnement (110) et qui est susceptible de pivoter vers l'avant lors d'un freinage automatique, le premier segment (3, 103) étant monté pivotant sur le deuxième segment (5, 105) autour d'un axe de rotation (6, 106), afin de pouvoir pivoter relativement audit deuxième segment (5, 105) dans le cas d'un blocage dudit premier segment (3, 103) contre un objet (3, 120).
