L'invention concerne un procédé de réduction d'une gigue affectant un flux de données vidéo diffusé en continu, qui comprend : - une identification (S3) d'un flux de données vidéo diffusé en continu comme appartenant à une classe de services à forte contrainte de gigue ; - une activation d'au moins un mécanisme de priorisation dudit flux de données vidéo identifié ; - une configuration d'une profondeur de mémoire tampon au sein d'un terminal de restitution (4) dudit flux de données vidéo identifié, ladite mémoire tampon étant dédiée au stockage temporaire dudit flux avant restitution par ledit terminal (4).The invention relates to a method of reducing jitter affecting a streaming video data stream, which comprises: - identifying (S3) of a streaming video data stream as belonging to a high class of service. jitter constraint; an activation of at least one prioritization mechanism of said identified video data stream; a configuration of a buffer memory depth within a rendering terminal (4) of said identified video data stream, said buffer memory being dedicated to the temporary storage of said stream before rendering by said terminal (4).
