L'invention concerne une machine électrique tournante comportant un rotor et un stator, le stator (100) comportant un corps de stator (110) muni d'un paquet de tôles et d'une pluralité d'encoches (111) et un bobinage comprenant : - une pluralité d'épingles (121) connectées entre elles de sorte à former une pluralité d'enroulements de phase, une portion centrale des épingles étant logée dans la pluralité d'encoches, une portion collatérale (124) desdites épingles étant disposée hors des encoches (111) pour former un chignon (125) en saillie sur une face d'extrémité axiale (114) du corps de stator, et - une pluralité d'épingles d'inversion (130) reliant chacune, électriquement, deux épingles (121) distinctes logées dans deux encoches distinctes et comprenant chacune au moins deux sections (131, 132) de formes différentes, une portion (131) au moins de chaque épingle d'inversion ayant une section rectangulaire, une portion (132) au moins de chaque épingle d'inversion ayant une section arrondie
