Un dispositif de test (DT) est couplé à un réseau de communication (RC) adapté à la transmission bidirectionnelle de trames de données non vidéo, dans des créneaux temporels définis par une table de programmation, et à la transmission unidirectionnelle de trames de données vidéo entre des organes (OM, OE). Ce dispositif (DT) comprend : - des moyens de génération (MG1) agencés pour générer des trames de données non vidéo, dites trames de test, destinées à au moins un organe (OM, OE) à tester, en fonction de valeurs de configuration de champs correspondants contenues dans des commandes de test, et - des moyens de communication (MCN) agencés pour transmettre chaque trame de test générée à l'organe (OM, OE) concerné dans un créneau temporel défini par une table de programmation associée à ces commandes de test.A test device (DT) is coupled to a communication network (RC) adapted for bidirectional transmission of non-video data frames, in time slots defined by a programming table, and for unidirectional transmission of video data frames between organs (OM, OE).
