Abstract

The method involves launching a test scenario on a reference device and on a to be tested device (S302, S303) in a parallel manner. Progress of test scenario on the reference device is controlled. The progress of the test scenario on the to be tested device is controlled in a synchronized manner with the control of the progress of the scenario on the reference device according to a check-point in the test scenario. Output data of the reference device and the to be tested device are read (S306) for comparing the data (S307). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program comprising instructions for implementing a method for testing an audio-visual content reception device (2) a test device for an audio-visual content reception device.
