Abstract
The method involves measuring an input parameter (42) e.g. temperature, and determining a predetermined setpoint position of an electric actuator based on the input parameter. Supply voltage (U) of the electric actuator is measured. Electric control signal i.e. variable opening cyclic ratio electric signal (RCO-U), of the electric actuator is determined from an electric control signal determination unit (43) based on the measured supply voltage and the predetermined setpoint position of the electric actuator. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an electric actuator control unit comprising a predetermined setpoint position determination unit (2) a vehicle comprising an electric actuator.
