Abstract

The device i.e. digital media server (105), has a digital media service i.e. favorite service (140), for preserving a list of identifiers of media and providing access to the media of the list to digital media controllers (110, 115) or digital media players (120, 125). One of the digital media controllers or players implements a user interface (135), so that a user selects the media. The controller or player controls the update of the list of favorite media for incorporating the selected media by the service. An independent claim is also included for a method for sharing resources on a network.
