Abstract

The equipment has a cutting/shredding head (4) fixed on a free end of a bearing structure (2). The head has a central part (10) cooperating with the structure. Cutting/shredding tools (8) i.e. cutting blades, are distributed around the central part. Radial slits (16) are formed on a triangular peripheral border (6) of a protection case (5). Each slit extends between the two juxtaposed cutting/shredding tools, and opens on the periphery. The radial slits receive an obstacle e.g. tree trunk, causing rotation of the head, for bypassing the obstacle when a tractor vehicle moves forward.
