JEWEL WITH BLIND TYPE LOCKING SYSTEM

  The invention relates to a jewel with a system of

wing type blocking.

  In French Patent No. 0011887 of September 18, 2000, a jewel with interchangeable decoration is described, consisting of a body externally comprising a mounting base pierced with at least one orifice, and a decorative element comprising an adapter plate intended to be mounted on said base and provided with at least one articulated arm 20 designed to be engaged in said orifice and to be folded back on the other side of the body or is provided a

  Such a jewel has drawbacks in terms of assembly and disassembly, in particular in terms of the fixing system 25, which makes it not very easy to be handled by

  The present invention aims to overcome these drawbacks, by providing a jewel provided with a locking system of the fin type, allowing easy manipulation by the user during a change.

  with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: - Figure 1 is an exploded perspective view showing a ring-shaped body according to the invention, and the decorative element consisting of the plate, the locking system and the ornamental part ; - Figure 2 is a sectional view of the ring-shaped body with the decorative element during assembly; - Figure 3 is a sectional view with the decorative element and its plate in the assembled state; - Figure 4 is a bottom view of the decorative element with its lateral fins; and

  - Figure 5 is a top view of the ring with its dotted ribs.

  In FIGS. 1 to 3, a jewel with interchangeable decoration according to the invention is shown, consisting of a ring 1 in the form of a ring body 3 intended to receive a decorative element 2 with its ornamental part 2a, these two parts being assembled and dissociable without difficulty for the user, thanks to the blocking system described in more detail below. In

  the ring 3 is provided with a mounting base 4.

  This mounting base 4 has two orifices 5 20 and 6 separated by a bridge 7 which extends transversely in the thickness of the ring 3. In fact, the mounting base 4 has an essentially rectangular cutout, the bridge 7 extending back from the interior contour of the cutout. The two openings 5 and 6 are provided in this cutout and

  extend respectively on either side of the trigger guard 7.

  The decorative element 2 comprises an adapter plate 8 which is mounted on the base 4 while resting mainly on the trigger guard 7 while coming to bear on the peripheral edge of the cutout.

  The plate 8 has, on its underside, two

  bosses 1, 12 on which the fins 9, 10 are respectively articulated at 9a, 10a intended to engage by pivoting in internal lateral recesses 13, 35 14 of the ring 3.

  e On the lateral faces of the fins 9, 10 are provided balls 15, 16 elastically urged by respective springs, not shown in the drawing, so as to be able to be erased during the pivoting of the fins 5 9, 10 in the recesses 13, 14 so as to achieve sufficient blocking to be held in place

  The free ends of the fins 9, 10 are shaped into respective shoulders 17, 18 so as to produce a prevention structure for the disengagement of the respective fins 9, 10 during the

disassembly of the jewel.

  In FIG. 4, are particularly represented,

  seen from below, the fins 9 and 10 of the locking system 15 with their respective balls 15, 16.

  It is in FIG. 5 that the pivoting ends of the fins 9, 10 are shown in more detail,

  cooperating with the respective bosses 11, 12.

  Thus is solved the problem of mounting and dismounting the constituent parts of a jewel, namely

  the decorative element and the body, by virtue of a particular structure of movable fins coming to be blocked by means of balls elastically mounted in two fins coming to be housed in the blocking position in internal recesses provided on the body of the jewel.

  It is clear that the invention is in no way limited

  to the embodiment described above with reference to the accompanying drawing, but that it encompasses all the modifications and variants resulting from the same basic principle.

Claims (4)

  1. Jewel with interchangeable decoration with locking system of the fin type, consisting of a body in which is formed externally a mounting base pierced with at least one orifice and a decorative element comprising a plate designed to adapt to said base, characterized in that are mounted at the opposite ends of said plate (4) two 10 fins (9, 10) intended to engage respectively in the two orifices (5, 6) provided in the 'base (4), after which each of the fins is made to pivot to engage respectively in two recesses (13, 14) provided on the internal face of the body 15 (3) where they come to block by means of   two balls (15, 16) associated with two springs holding them in relief with respect to the fins while allowing them to be erased by pressure until they come to engage in suitable housings 20 provided on the lateral faces hollows.   2. Jewel according to claim 1, characterized in that   that the free ends of the fins (9, 10 are shaped into respective shoulder structures (17, 18) so that they can be entered manually when the system is released.   3. Jewel according to any one of claims 1   and 2, characterized in that the through holes (5,   6) are separated by a trigger guard (7).   4. Jewel according to any one of claims 1 30 to 3, characterized in that the fins (9, 10) are   mounted on pivots (9a, 10a) provided in bores made in lower bosses (11, 12) of the platinum (8).
