Abstract

The sample is held in a tube (10) with a rigid axial wall (12). This has as axial rib (24) which is shaped like a dove-tail with a thin inner part and a wider outer part. A card (30), showing information, has a slot (32) which has the same length as the rib (L) and its width is equal to the inner part of the rib. One end of the slot has a wider cut-out whose width is equal to that of the wider part of the rib. This allows the card to be fitted on to the rib.
