Abstract

The implement has the bowl (2) of its spoon offset to one side of a lengthwise axial line passing through the centre of its fork prongs (3) and handle (1). The spoon has two curved edges (2a, 2b) between its handle (1) and the fork prongs (3). The prongs ae in axial alignment with the handle, while the spoon bowl is offset to one side of it. The edge (2a) of the spoon with the greater curvature is used for eating, while the opposite edge (2b) can be sharpened and/or serrated for cutting. In a variant of the design the free end of the handle can have a depression to form a small spoon.
