Le dispositif comporte un bâti 1 formé de montants 2, de longerons 3 et de traverses 4, Fig. 1 et 2. Le bâti 1 supporte, par l'intermédiaire de liaisons souples 5, un toboggan 6 qui aboutit légèrement devant le bâti 1. Le toboggan 6 est formé d'un plan incliné 7, Fig. 1, avec, de chaque côté du plan incliné 7, une paroi latérale 8. De préférence, chaque paroi latérale 8 comporte un flanc intérieur 9 qui fait un angle obtus avec le plan 7. Le toboggan 6 comprend une partie supérieure 10 de réception des carottes et une partie inférieure d'alignement 11. La partie 10 a une largeur décroissante dans le sens de la descente, alors que la partie 11 a une largeur uniforme. La partie 11 est divisée en couloirs longitudinaux 12 par des éléments de séparation 13.Les éléments 13 sont des dièdres dont la hauteur par rapport au plan 7 croît dans le sens de la descente, la largeur du fond des couloirs 12 décroissant donc simultanément. In a satisfactory prototype of the invention, the width of the bottom of the corridors 12 is approximately 10 cm at their upper end and approximately 4.5 cm at their lower end. dans les couloirs 12 et arrivent sur les profilés 19. Ceux-ci
diffèrent légèrement leur chute dans les couloirs 18, assurant ainsi
une répartition correcte dans le sens de la longueur. Les carottes
tombent au fond de la caisse où elles se couchent en long. Sous
l'effet de la charge, le vérin 22 se rétracte progressivement et, à
mesure de la descente, les carottes se déposent en couches successives
jusqu'à ce que la caisse soit remplie. La vitesse de descente doit
être telle que lorsque les carottes quittent les couloirs de chute 18,
elles reposent déjà pratiquement sur le fond de la caisse ou sur la
couche supérieure des carottes déjà tombées. On détermine la vitesse
