Abstract
L'invention concerne le papier isolant des appareils électriques remplis d'huile et permet d'en diagnostiquer avec précision la déterioration. On détermine la quantité totale de furfural en ajoutant à la quantité de furfural dissous dans l'huile isolante contenue dans un appareil électrique rempli d'huile la quantité de furfural adsorbé sur le papier isolant et on diagnostique la détérioration du papier isolant grâce à la corrélation existant entre la quantité totale de furfural ainsi déterminée et le degré de polymérisation du papier isolant, qui indique son degré de détérioration.
