Abstract

The audible toy consists of a rectangular rigid plate (1) with a handle (2) fixed underneath and a spherical mass (5) joined to its centre by a cord (14). The cord is shorter than the shortest distance between the fixing point (3) and the edges of the plate, so that, for all its trajectory, round 360 degrees, the mass hits the plate. The upper face (1a) of the plate is marked (6) to represent a games pitch with simulated goals at each end.
