Abstract

The invention relates to a facade-covering panel for houses, garages, schools, etc., entirely made of glass fibre and polyester resin with honeycomb-shaped cells and on each face a sheet of glass fibre and polyester resin. A recess on the periphery of the panel enables the panels to be interlocked, the whole assembly being fixed by pins to the walls to be protected. High quality covering providing good acoustic and thermal insulation, which concerns, inter alia, the renovation of ancient constructions.

Description

The present invention relates to old constructions like residential houses, garage, workshop, etc. The materials used for these constructions, concrete, fiber cement, stone and other traditional products can be made fragile by years, bad weather, and because of their design, which poses problems for redoing their facades.

The fiberglass and polyester resin facade cladding panels of the present invention avoids all these problems, and moreover, it has good acoustic and thermal insulation.

Indeed, these constituent panels fitting into each other, joined by adhesive and polyester resin reinforced with fiberglass gives a homogeneity and a perfect waterproofness (fig 1-2 rep 6-8), no special material is necessary to its implementation due to their design and their weight, which is very low.

The present invention can be better understood by examining the figures and method of implementation
FIG 1 presentation of a wall seen in section, protected with its facade cladding panels in fiberglass and polyester, (1) wall, (2 \ mastic serving as wedge at the ankle in a honeycomb, (4 ) space between wall and panel, (5) support pin (6) mortaize, (7) shim between wall and panel, (9) fiberglass skin inside panel, (10 fiberglass skin of the panel outside face ser ~ vant support for traditional plastering FIG 2 presentation sectional view of 2 connected panels (3) honeycomb cell, (6) interlocking of the two panels, (8) bridging of the two panels by fiber.de glass and resin (9-10) skins on the face of the panel closing the honeycomb cells, FIG 3 presentation view in section AA of there figure 2, (3) honeycomb in exagonal shape, (5) position of the supporting city, (2) putty serving as ankle wedge in a honeycomb.
