Abstract

The sequence control system uses a plug-in programme card comprising a transparent sheet (1) with timing markers (2) and read/write line (3) which are printed on the card in opaque ink. The card has also a number of lines or tracks (4) with divisions corresponding to the timing marks so that data eventually written into these lines is synchronized. Further markings (5) (3) (6) ensure that the card is inserted in the correct manner into the reader unit. The programme is written into the card by affixing strips of opaque adhesive tape (4a) to the appropriate tracks so that a certain number of individual blocks, representing timing intervals, are covered. The programming system may thus be prepared without the use of specially trained personnel.
