Abstract

1. A device for cooling and purification of the gases leaving a waterelectrolysis plant, characterized in that it includes for each gas outlet an enclosure (1) situated above the corresponding gas-liquid separator and equipped with : - at least one external inlet (11) for demineralized water enabling a volume of liquid (3) to be maintained in it ; - at least one inlet (5) for gas coming from the said separator (7) and emerging into the said liquid (3) ; - at least one circuit (6) for the return of the said liquid to the electrolyser ; - at least one inlet (4) for purified gas located at the upper part of it.
