Abstract

A semi trailer coupling arrangement includes a saddle (3) on the traction vehicle, which swings about a pivot, engaged by a locking peg on the trailer, with a latch arm which is released by a spring loaded arm at the rear, operated by a pneumatic cylinder. This operates through a swinging arm, with a control switch connected to the spring loaded arm. The pneumatic and electric coupling elements of the semi trailer are carried by an arm swinging about the locking peg, guided by a member on the tractor. The telescopic supports for the free end of the trailer are controlled by hydro pneumatic valves on the supply circuits which have two control valves for lifting and lowering respectively. The parking brake of the trailer is controlled by a pneumatic cylinder with a return spring, which is connected to the compressed air supply of the trailer.
