Abstract

Compsns. for treating proliferative skin diseases contain as active ingredients cycloheximide (I) and an antiinflammatory or inflammation-inhibiting glucocorticoid (II), together with carriers, diluents or extenders. Esp. (II) is hydrocortisone and the compsns. are formulated for topical application or injection. For treating psoriasis, dermatitis, allergies, keratosis, acne etc. in humans and domestic animals. Compared with conventional compsns. they have better therapeutic indices, are more active, have fewer side effects and their effect lasts longer.
