Abstract

Four telescopically adjustable legs (5) are attached to the rear of a television set (3). The set may then be rotated 90 deg. onto the legs, with the screen horizontal and facing upwards. In this position the set is used to play various games e.g. simulated flying of a plane etc. The legs may also be deployed to incline the screen in a similar fashion to an aeroplane control console. With the television deployed in this manner it may be supplied with various data. The data may be of the coded or uncoded video type and may be fed to the television from internal or external generatrix sources. An apertured table top (1) may be placed over the horizontal screen. This table top may incorporate coordinates and symbols, and serve as a playing surface.
