Abstract

The magnetic bandage is for fixing to the ankle or calf of the leg to relieve pain in the case of arthritis or other illness resulting from bad circulation in the lower limbs. It has magnets producing a field in a particular direction. The north poles can be at the top and the south ones at the bottom. Being secured in a honeycomb structure between two good-quality stiff cloths and sewn to prevent the magnets shifting. An adjustable fastener can be included, to fit it onto the part of the body desired.
