Abstract

The furniture door hinge has hinge arm which supports pivoting brackets and hinge arm can be fixed directly or indirectly on a baseplate. An adjusting screw is connected to a nut and the screw projects into an opening of the mounting plate. The hinge adjusting mechanism prevents the play between the gap adjustment screw and the base-plate while the usual production tolerances can be used. The gap adjusting screw is inclined to a plane at right angles to the mounting face of the baseplate and parallel to the pivot lever axis. This angle of inclination is approximately four degrees. The baseplate end of the gap adjusting screw has conical point.
