Abstract

Il comprend au moins un élément de stockage 1, constitué d'une coque fermée sphérique 2, renfermant les déchets 3, disposée à l'intérieur d'une coque fermée 4, hérissée de pointes radiales externes 5, ainsi qu'une coque intermédiaire 6, munie de passages radiaux 8 et d'un réseau de canalisations interne 9 dont l'entrée 10 et la sortie 11 peuvent être reliées au circuit de fréon d'une thermopompe, les chambres 12 et 13 étant remplies d'un fluide non contaminable. La coque 6 constitue l'évaporateur de la thermopompe, qui récupère et évacue vers un circuit d'utilisation exterieur les calories parasites émises par les déchets radioactifs 3.
