Abstract

The post comprises a double web 'I' section (1) with two trapezoidal sections (2) which clip into place. The trapezoidal sections attach to each recessed face of the 'I' section and may be cut to length of accommodate the housed edges of glazed or plain horizontal panels. The edges (20, 21) of the 'I' section and the trapezoidal section may be returned internally to form a clip-on tongue and groove type connection. The lengths of trapezoidal section (2) may, thus, slide relative to the primary sections (1) and form spacers between the horizontal shelving panels. A shoe which corresponds to the outline of the combined section may be attached to the head and foot.
