Abstract

L'invention concerne une méthode et un appareil pour déterminer la pression sanguine. Une pression variable est appliquée à l'aide d'une manchette et une grandeur est mesurée formée par la somme de la pression appliquée et d'une composante ne présentant la pression sanguine pulsatoire; une dérivée dans le temps particulière au moins de la composante fluctuante est formée et utilisée pour déterminer la pression sanguine; cette dérivée dans le temps est la deuxième dérivée qui est analysée pour déterminer à quelle pression appliquée elle coupe pour la première et la dernière fois en direction négative une valeur de référence négative, ces points déterminant la pression diastolique ou systolique suivant que la pression appliquée est augmentée ou diminuée.
