Abstract
La présente invention concerne un procédé d'hydrodéalkylation d'hydrocarbures alkyl aromatiques en présence d'un catalyseur à base de rhodium dépose sur un support du type aluminate Le catalyseur du procédé de l'invention est constitué d'une part de rhodium et éventuellement d'au moins un métal choisi parmi le platine et le palladium et d'autre part, d'un support constitué au moins partiellement par un aluminate de structure spinelle et répondant à la formule générale MAl2 O4 , xAl2 O 3 où x peut varier entre 0 et 200 et ou M est au moins un métal choisi parmi le groupe constitué par le nickel, le cobalt, le cuivre, le zinc, le fer et le magnésium. Le procédé de l'invention s'applique notamment à l'hydrodéalkylation du toluène
