Abstract

The fluid storage container has an inner space formed by a housing and top and bottom covers joined by the hollow column. The column is connected to the inner space to convey vapour from the fluid away, and its open end protrudes above it. The top and bottom covers (2,3) are hollow, being joined to each other by passages (4) running along the inside of the housing (1). The open end of the column (6) protrudes into the hollow interior of the one of the covers, while that of the other is connected to a collecting tank (10) for the condensate from the vapour. Heat exchanges, in which coolant circulates, can be mounted in the passages.
