Abstract

The conveyor evacuates sawn wood products and has a combined guide and stop which enables products to be removed from one or both sides. The conveyor belt (6) has its surface (1') inclined transversely, to on side only, or to each side of the central axis. At the required evacuation position is a stop (7). This is fixed permanently across the belt, or is operated by a power cylinder to descend when required. In the case of the double-angled belt, a stop may be provided each side. The stops act as guides and are also inclined relative to perpendicular to improve ejection.
