Abstract

The windmill has a stationary central shaft (2) which carries a number of rotors (3) mounted one above the other on separate bearings so taht they can rotate independently of each other. The hub of each rotor is provided with an internally toothed wheel which meshes with pinion on a smaller diameter shaft running inside the stationary shaft (2). The speed of the rotors is regulated by the deflectors (4) mounted on a frame which rotates on a rail (5) to face the wind under the influence of the wind on the vane (6). The deflectors (4) as well as the vanes (7) can be opened or closed to regulate the force of the wind on the rotors.
