Abstract

The device is for the connection of individual conductors and insulators such that the need for separate spacers, washers and screws is removed, particularly where a conductor may need to be clamped to, but insulated from, another conductor. The conducting element (8) is in the form of a flat plate having a central fixing hole. Insulation of this from the part to which it is to be clamped (10) is provided by two flexible insulating pieces (1, 2) connected by a strap (3). Both insulators have a drilled hole to locate with that of the conductor, one of the insulators carries a fixed tube which protrudes trough the conductor and partly enters the other insulator. Fixing is by a screw (12) through the aligned holes into the mounting surface (10).
