Abstract

The food shelf for an oven or grill, is in the form of a wire frame with a rectangular part (2) wide enough to be retained between side walls (5) of the oven or casing, with a pair of longitudinal wires (6) spaced apart vertically so as to form a track for a pair of rollers (3). On a cross wire (2) is mounted a further pair of rollers (4). Over these four rollers is supported a narrower rectangular frame (1) which can thus be extended, travelling on the rollers. Inverted L-shaped side clips (7) attached to the outer frame prevent the inner one from lifting. End stops (9) on the inner frame limit its travel, and vertical rods (10) support the carrier for the food.
