Abstract

Prod. for aesthetic or the rapeutic aromatherapy contains a natural animal or vegetable essence and a liquified propellant gas, but is free from excipients, solvents and other supports. Conventional solvents etc. can often inhibit the beneficial effect of the natural essences. by elimination of such materials an improved effect is obtd. The essence usually comprises 0.001-900g. per 1000g. of prod. Typical active ingredients include rosemary essence, which has a toning effect and is usually used at the rate of 0.001-3g/1000g. and jasmine essence which has an emollient effects, and is used at ther ate of 700-900g/10000g.
