Abstract

The panties are formed fron an I-shaped panel having a pref. reinforced central portion to which is secured an absorbant pad, and two transverse end portions having pref. elasticated end edges. The central portion extends under the crotch and corresponding side edges of the end portions are joined together at respective sides of the hip by fasteners. The panties are pref. of a non-woven viscose or polyester fabric incorporating an adhesive.
