Abstract

Fireproof metal mould cladding. Compound is produced from a binder and a fireproof component to which a light anisotropic inorganic vegetable material is added. The fireproof compound has a lower bulk weight than granular basis silicic acid containing fireproof materials. Preferably, the inorganic anisotpic material contains silicic acid, whilst the binder is organic or inorganic, and is added in an amount of 2-20% by weight of the compound. Preferably, up to 10% by wt. of inorganic fibrous material are added.
