Abstract

Polypropylene film with one side activated to give improved adhesion properties is furnished with a base or ground layer having special properties. The films can be employed in pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes or plasters when a pressure sensitive acrylate adhesive is incorporated into the base layer. Specifically, the base layer consists of a flexible copolymer, e.g. a terpolymer from ethylene, vinyl acetate and a copolymerisable acrylchloride containing halogen residues, and is stable under anhydrous conditions.
