Abstract
A fully automated system of dispensing accurate amts. of powder, specially planned for handling thermoluminescent powders. A mobile arm transfers a small cartridge of powder to a point over a balance. A second arm places a dish on the balance, and a vibrator unit causes powder to be shaken from a small hole in the cartridge. Operation of the vibrator is controlled by comparator units connected to the balance to ensure that the required quantity of powder is metered out.
