Abstract

Damage by uv. rays, such as discoloration and ageing of articles exhibited behind windows and shop-windows, is prevented by applying a transparent, optionally coloured, sheet of polyester or other synthetic polymer, coated with an adhesive on the face to be applied to the inner glass surface, and containing uv. ray absorbing material and optionally heat-barrier and vapour-barrier material.
