Abstract

A guiding stem (12) for gardening tools may be moved along and around the stick (10) and be secured in all its positions by means of a clamping device. The clamping device has an eccentric lever (22) that presses a pressure piece (18) against the stick (10). In the clamping position, the actuating arm of the eccentric lever (22) is substantially parallel to the stick (10) and spaced apart therefrom, so that it may be easily gripped. In order to loosen the clamping device, the eccentric lever (22) is swivelled over 90 DEG , so that the pressure piece (18) is set back and the handle (12) may be moved.
