Abstract

The invention relates to a wood/metal frame for windows, doors or the like, in which a one-part metal frame (3) is snapped on on the weather side. The invention is seen in that the snap web (13) extends over the supporting surface (5) of the wooden frame to below the plate-shaped element (6), engages, by means of a web edge (11) angled outwards in a hook-shaped manner, into a groove (23) arranged in the supporting surface (5) and extending in the longitudinal direction of the profile, and is supported on the supporting surface via a bearing leg (10) which is articulated in the region of the web edge (11) and which, on the weather side, merges at right angles into a locking leg (15) which is parallel to the wooden-frame bearing surface (19) and which engages in a locking manner behind the outer drip edge (22) of the latter by means of an edge (15a) bent in a hook-shaped manner towards the room interior. <IMAGE>
