Abstract

Uppfinningen avser trombopoietin (TPO) polypeptider, vilka har en specifikt stimulerande och ökande inverkan på produktionen av blodplättar och vilka innhåller aminosyrasekvensen 1-332 i SEQ ID NO: 6: n eller derivat av denna. I uppfinningen beskrivs också DNA-molekyler, vilka kodar TPO polypeptider, förfaranden för produktion av polypeptiderna, antikroppar, vilka är immunoreaktiva med nämnda polypeptider, farmaceutiska kompositioner, vilka innehåller dessa polypeptider, samt förfarande för att använda polypeptiderna för att sköta blodplättstörningar, såsom trombocytopeni.The invention relates to thrombopoietin (TPO) polypeptides which have a specific stimulating and increasing effect on the production of platelets and which contain the amino acid sequence 1-332 of SEQ ID NO: 6 or derivatives thereof. The invention also describes DNA molecules which encode TPO polypeptides, methods for producing the polypeptides, antibodies which are immunoreactive with said polypeptides, pharmaceutical compositions which contain these polypeptides, and methods for using the polypeptides to treat platelet disorders such as thrombocytopenia.
